A TEENAGER who flouted a court order imposed for assault had to be pushed by his mother to attend, a court heard.
Bobby Ibbotson was at Nelson and Colne College, but had a poor attitude to attending there, as well. He was provided for by his stepfather and mother, but clearly needed to change, Burnley Crown Court was told.
The defendant, described by his barrister as "a man of few words", admitted breaching the 12-month community order with supervision.
He had since been convicted of possessing an offensive weapon after he was caught by police with part of a snooker cue in his back pocket. He claimed he had been threatened by two people.
Ibbotson (18), of West Close, had completed the curfew part of the community order and within a couple of days was due to finish the curfew imposed for possessing an offensive weapon.
Judge Simon Newell gave him another one, lasting six weeks, until December 18th.
