PUPILS at Kelbrook Children's Centre Nursery have plenty to smile about after taking part in East Lancashire Primary Care Trust's "Smiling for Life" programme.
This is a national initiative developed by the health education authority and funded by the Department of Health to promote the oral health of babies through to five-year-olds.

"The programme is very relevant in East Lancashire where many young children suffer pain and infection as a result of poor dental health," said a spokesman.

Staff at the nursery, based at the village school, worked hard to deliver the programme and were recently accredited with the "Smiling for Life" certificate by the oral health team.
