EARBY Parish Council has given its backing to Coun. Keith Bailey's campaign to rid the area of most of its plastic bags.
He is hoping to set up a small group that will take this project forward by handing out a free reusable bag to every household in the area.

Councillors all thought this was a good idea and agreed to liaise with Coun. Bailey to find out more details.
