BE Bosom friends cancer support group will step back in time again on Sunday.
It is planning a repeat of last year's highly successful 1940s Celebration Day from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Rolls-Royce Leisure Centre.
The West Riding Home Guard 28 - an authentic group of enthusiasts - will be present during the afternoon and there will also be a a variety of vintage vehicles on show, along with 1940s re-enactors.
Inside there will be swing jive dancing demonstrations where people can have a go themselves, an exhibition showing the part locals played during the war and wartime food available from the "NAAFI".
This year there will also be a prize for the person judged to be wearing the best 1940's outfit.
Anyone who has anything they would like included in the exhibition is asked to contact Sally Lambert on 812796, who will scan the originals and copy them for the display.
Entry is free to the event, but donations on the day towards the work of the group would be welcome.
