Strimming call as Earby weeds take over

PENDLE Council is to be asked why its maintenance team are mowing, but not strimming, in Earby.
There have been complaints to Earby Parish Council about teams leaving the job half done, their failure to strim along the edges resulting in ever-increasing crops of weeds springing up around the town.

Members agreed to write to Pendle Council asking for confirmation of the exact number of cuts and trims that should be carried out each year on Earby's roadside verges and public footpaths.
