A 19-YEAR-OLD high on drugs and booze asked police to find him a taxi - and then produced cocaine from his pocket.
To make matters worse, he then legged it and ended up plunging into the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to try and escape!

The officers were in Coates Avenue, Barnoldswick, at 1-30 a.m. on Saturday when the man approached them and asked if they could arrange a taxi for him.

They asked him if he had any money, he put his hand in his pocket and pulled out cash along with a bag of drugs. He then ran off and jumped into the canal, but was arrested and cautioned by the police for possessing the drugs. He will not be sent to court.
