PADIHAM people can have their say Saturday on shaping the future of Memorial Park.
People are invited to voice their ideas for improvement and transformation of the park, outside Padiham Leisure Centre between noon and 4 p.m.

Burnley Borough Council is asking people to help shape the future of the award-winning park and have an input into the application being submitted in September to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).

If the application is successful the council hopes to be in a position to invest around £1m. on Memorial Park with work starting in late 2010.

To find out more about the plans, pick up a copy of Friday's Padiham Express.
