'Bathroom' conman targets 84-year-old

AN 84-year-old woman was burgled by a heartless conman who tricked his way into her home by asking to use her bathroom.
The culprit, described as a white man in his early 20s, with gelled hair and wearing a blue tracksuit top, struck in Holmes Square, in Holmes Street, Burnley, at 10-30 p.m. on Wednesday.

He escaped with a purse containing cash and documents valued at £160.
