PENDLE'S Cheeky Monkeys are set to dance for millions again in the "Britain's Got Talent" tour across the country.
The dancing duo may have lost out in the final on Saturday to street dancer George Sampson, but the fun and excitement is not over here for this Colne pair.

Laneshaw Bridge Primary School pupil Charlie Dixon (8) and Krista Hyatt (9), who attends Park Primary School, Colne, will take to the road on Friday until June 27th, performing along with the nine other finalists in 13 cities, including Manchester and Liverpool.

The tour will be hosted by Stephen Mulhern, who presents the ITV2 spin-off show, "Britain's Got More Talent".

Although the winner will still be the only one to appear in front of Prince Charles at the Royal Variety Performance, the programme has had such big ratings, with more than 10 million viewers each week, that bosses decided to increase the prizes by sending the show on the road.

Local supporters of Charlie, of Shelfield Road, Trawden, and Krista, of Lenches Road, Colne, will have the chance to watch them live for the first time at the nearby Manchester Apollo on Friday, June 13th.

Krista's mum Lisa Hyatt said: "The whole experience has been amazing, and this tour could open up all kinds of opportunities for them.

"We couldn't go out on the street in London without people stopping them for autographs or wanting their picture taking with them. It was mad.

"I was so proud of Krista on the night of the finals when she said "Mum, I don't care if we don't win tonight, everyone deserves to win".

"They've become such good friends with everyone, especially Strike and Andrew Johnston. The tour's going to be brilliant."

Lisa thanked all their supporters, especially Wendy at Sew Beautiful on Skipton Road, Colne, who made the pairs' dazzling costumes.
