Flat fire investigation

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a flat fire early this morning.
Fortunately nobody was in the flat in Wycoller Avenue, Burnley, when three fire crews arrived on the scene at 12-45 a.m.

The fire has been started on the window sill of a broken window and was starting to spread when the firefighters got there.

Breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit were used to tackle the blaze which is being investigated by police.
