Have you seen wanted man?
POLICE are hunting a former Burnley man who has failed to return to prison.
Martin Sydney O'Neill (21), who used to live in Sandhurst Street, was convicted of wounding at Bolton Crown Court in July 2004 but was later released on licence.
He was recalled to prison in May but has not turned up.
Police believe he is most probably in East Lancashire, having also lived in Bolton and Accrington.
Insp. John Clucas said: "O'Neill is wanted by police so he can be returned to prison. He is also wanted by Greater Manchester Police as well for an offence committed in Bolton.
"I would appeal for the public to come forward if they have any information that will lead to the arrest of O'Neill and I would also appeal to him direct to give himself up."
If anybody has information they can ring Burnley police on 01282 425001 or Crimestoppers, free and confidence, on 0800 555 111.
