POLICE in Burnley have taken the unusual step of publishing a photo taken by a camera they have recovered in a bid to find its rightful owner and help solve a crime.
The photo of a lady and her blue tandem bike was taken by a silver-coloured Olympus digital camera recovered during a recent search warrant conducted by officers seeking stolen goods.

Officers are now urging the woman herself – or anyone who knows her – to come forward so the camera can be reunited with its owner and details of its theft established.

Anyone who can help should call PS 4047 Andy Horne at Burnley Police Station on 472280.
