FIREFIGHTERS and police are probing a blaze which destroyed a kitchen in Fraser Street, Burnley.
The fire gutted the kitchen and had started to spread into the ground floor and the stairs and the house was badly smoke damaged.

As well as hose reels, firefighters used breathing apparatus and thermal imaging cameras to search the house but no-one was inside at the time.

The doors and windows at the back of the house have been boarded up.

Crew manager Anthony Harrison said investigations had been started into the fire, at 8-50 p.m. on Thursday, as it was unclear how it had started.
