A LONG-STANDING Burnley clothes shop has closed.
Ladies fashion shop Bourne's closed on Tuesday after a century of trading, first in St James's Street and from 1982 in Yorkshire Street.

In 2004, Mr Michael Cartwright bought the shop from Mrs Audrey Hall who had run the shop for more than 30 years.

It is the latest long-running independent Burnley business to close in recent years - Holt's shoe shop and Benn's toy shop are two notable businesses which have closed.
