BURNLEY pick up their second straight win thanks to goals from Ade Akinbiyi and Robbie Blake.
Following the dismal New Years Day defeat at Blackpool, the Clarets continued their excellent away record with a goal in each half.
Akinbiyi gave Owen Coyle's side the lead after just 10 minutes, finishing off a flowing move after Blake had fed Wade Elliott.
Coventry levelled midway through the half when Michael Doyle smashed home following a goalmouth scramble.
But Blake's second half strike, shooting past Dimi Konstantopoulos from just inside the area, gave Burnley the points.
