A 19-year-old Colne man has appeared in court charged with two offences of indecent exposure in the town.
Shane Whittaker, of Talbot Street, was before Pennine magistrates on Saturday morning and was remanded in custody.

The allegations follow two incidents on Friday, July 25th. At 7-15 a.m. a local woman in the town centre claimed she was followed by a man who exposed himself to her.

A second alleged victim was walking her dog in Alkincoats Park, Colne, at 8-30 a.m. when she, too, said she was followed by a man. He appeared three times, and exposed himself on the third occasion, it is alleged.
