A COLNE family has appealed for the return of their missing miniature Yorkshire terrier.
Eight-year-old Lottie disappeared from the garden of the Pate family home in Chatham Street on Tuesday.

She is thought to have followed a family member out of the house and gone out of the garden on to the street.

Her disappearance was not noticed immediately and has left the family, especially the younger members, distraught.

"Lottie is very friendly and looks like a puppy, although she is eight years old. She never used to leave my mum's side but she was just come out of hospital and was in bed when she disappeared," said Tara Pate.

"We have been in touch with the police and the dog warden but no one seems to have seen her. We have only just moved in here so Lottie was not wearing a collar or a tag."

Anyone with information on Lottie can contact the Pates on 704499.
