A RECENTLY-introduced bus service in Colne is to be amended following representations from residents.
The Green Line service, introduced following the opening of the new Boundary Mill store at the end of the M65, will be rerouted along Crown Way and North Valley Road instead of using Vivary Way.

Residents spoke out about the "missing link" at the last meeting of Pendle Council's Colne and District Committee and Lancashire County Council's transport staff looked at the routes to see if changes could be made.

The new routes will come into effect next month.

Changes to another new service will be introduced on Saturday. The service 16 Lenches Circular will divert down Linden Road and Spring Lane to serve that area on its way to Bunkers Hill.

Coun. Howard Thomas said: "This is the useful tweaking to the services which we asked the county council to consider. I am delighted they have responded so quickly."
