VANDALS caused more than £1,500-worth of damage after scratching eight cars during a rampage in Trawden.
The vehicles, parked in Skipton Road, were scratched on the doors and bonnets in the early hours of Tuesday last week.

Rural beat manager PC Mark Whitehead said: "I am bitterly disappointed we've had an outbreak of such offences in a rural area. I can assure residents every possible police resource will be used to trace the offenders. I've already had some excellent information from the public, and inquiries are actively on-going."

Anyone wanting to discuss policing issues in the village is welcome to contact PC Whitehead on 07903 306281 or email mark.whitehead@lancashire.pnn.police.uk

Alternatively, contact PCSO Rob Beck on his email addresss: robert.beck@lancashire.pnn.police.uk or call 07985 519224.
