SUCCESS: Members of The Princes Trust visit The Grange Care Home, in Keighley Road (S)

RESIDENTS at a Colne care home were treated to a game of bingo, thanks to a team from The Prince’s Trust.

The group visited The Grange Care Home, in Keighley Road, having raised funds for bingo prizes, and according to the care home’s personal activities leader, Carolyn Weston, had an enjoyable time.

Carolyn would like to thank the team, who visit The Grange about twice a year, and wish them all the best for their future.

It is hoped the group will be able to do a community challenge on their next visit, as well as the team challenge, to enhance the social well-being of the residents.

Lots of events are lined up for residents at The Grange including a visit from Salvation Army representatives at 2pm on Tuesday and a Christmas party with Pendle Hippodrome Theatre at 6pm on Saturday, December 15th.

Vocalist Hugh Dent will be performing at the venue on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day, Santa will be dropping in.

Mr Dent will also be spending time drawing the care home’s raffle. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased by ringing Carolyn Weston on 01282 786184.
