LETTER: Help me trace family of shipwreck survivor

I WONDER if any readers remember or can put me in touch with the family of the survivor of a shipwreck.

I came across the name Edmound Taylor while researching my family tree. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada, and have discovered my family came to Canada from Lancashire in early 1900. I also know they sailed here on board the ship “Royal Edward”.

During my research I came across an article from the Burnley Express, dated September 1st, 1915, about the ship sinking shortly after returning from Canada. Private Edmound Taylor, as he was described, was aboard the ship but arrived home safely. I wondered if we might be related.

If anyone has any information I would very much like to hear from them. I can be reached at guitarman40_2003@hotmail.com
