GET sold on soul when The Soul Train pulls up at the Burnley Mechanics next month.

The sensational nine-piece are bringing the best of the 60s and Northern Soul to the Manchester Road venue on Saturday, March 3rd.

Capturing the feel of the classic era of soul with authentic arrangements, hits from The Temptations, Dobie Gray, Wilson Pickett, The Showstoppers, Stevie Wonder, Dean Parrish, Jackie Wilson and many more are electrifyingly brought to life.

Having performed extensively across the North-West as well as “keeping the faith” further afield, The Soul Train have been much in demand from club soul nights through to theatres, festivals and Northern Soul “all nighters”.

Saxophonist Andy Procter, who is from Burnley, said: “We are delighted to be visiting my home town and are all eager to perform at such an iconic venue as The Mechanics. It promises to be a really special night for soul and particularly Northern Soul fans”.

Tickets, which are priced at £10, and details for the show are available from Burnley Mechanics box office (01282-664400) or through either www.soultrainofficial.co.uk or www.burnleymechanics.co.uk.
