HALLOWEEN: Colne primary school goes pumpkin crazy

CHILDREN at a Colne school were delighted to get a donation of pumpkins from the town’s Sainbury’s store during half term.

It took place at the Park Out of School Club, which is based at Park Primary School.

Its manager, Faye Denwood, said: “We open in the holidays to provide care for children aged between four and 11 whose parents are working. This week, we have enjoyed Hallowe’en activities and Sainsbury’s donated us 20 pumpkins.

“The children have had a great time making pumpkins and taking part in a time-consuming activity that working parents might struggle with!”

So the club has expressed its thanks to Sainsbury’s for its contribution of pumpkins.
