Win tickets to children’s ballet in Manchester

ENB Ballet School dances My First Sleeping Beauty

ENB Ballet School dances My First Sleeping Beauty

YOUNG ballet dancers will be tu tu delighted with a new show at The Palace Theatre, Manchester, in June.

English National Ballet 2 will be performing “My First Sleeping Beauty” at the theatre on June 2nd and 3rd. The production is aimed at children aged three upwards to encourage them to take up the gentle art.

Imagine an enchanted world of castles and curses, forests and fairies, created especially for children by award-winning choreographer Matthew Hart, coupled with Tchaikovsky’s gorgeous waltz-filled music, which includes the tune made famous as Once upon a Dream in Disney’s version of Sleeping Beauty.

ENB2 is a new touring company featuring graduating dancers and they will encourage children to dress up as a ballerina, an evil fairy or a Prince and to clap and cheer, boo the evil Carabosse, laugh and even try some ballet moves for themselves.

It’s a wonderful chance for children to try out ballet and East Lancashire Newspapers has joined forces with ENB2 to give away a family ticket to see the show.

All you have to do is answer the following question: Name the show’s choreographer.
