Callous theft from mum-to-be hours before birth

A HEAVILY pregnant young woman had her car broken into and £100-worth of baby items stolen the night before she was due to go into hospital to give birth.
The 26-year-old, of Bird Street, Brierfield, had packed the boot of the Chrysler with two suitcases, one red and one black, containing all the baby clothes and personal effects she needed for her visit in the morning.

Between 9-30 p.m. on Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, the lock on the car was punched and the property from the boot was stolen.
