FATHER and son Dave Burnett and Ben Morton took part in the 2008 Cannon Ball 8000 Rally in Dave's prized black Ferrari 308 GTB to raise £1,318 for Pendleside Hospice.
The rally, one of a worldwide series, started from Manchester United Football Club and ended in Brighton, where participants are treated to a beach party and a night at the Grand Hotel.

Dave owns Dave Burnett Vehicle Solutions, based at Marsden Height Close, Brierfield, and specialises in lease vehicles.

He handed the money to hospice fund-raising manager Mrs Kaye Bartle at the Classic Car Show at Towneley Park, where the Ferrari was on display to the crowds.
