POLICE are appealing for the public to help them identify items of jewellery.
Several items of jewellery were seized at the end of May in the Burnley area and as of yet officers have drawn a blank as to who owns them.

PC Melissa Chadwick said: "We have seized several items of jewellery but so far no reports have been made to the police. It may be that the owner does not realise they are missing and I am urging residents to check and come forward with any information and help reunite these items with their rightful owner."

Anyone with information can contact PC Melissa Chadwick or PC Tom Halliwell on 01282 472121 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
