Major town centre route closed for two months

A MAJOR route through Nelson centre will be closed for two months from tomorrow.
Railway Street will be closed between the Broadway and Netherfield Road junction to enable highway improvements and sewer connection works as part of the bus/rail interchange to be carried out.

Lancashire County Council estimates the closure will last until June 27th. Diversions will be in operation for traffic, but pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
