Multi-storey jump threat - police talk man down

POLICE spent 90 minutes talking to a man who threatened to jump from the multi-storey car park in Broadway, Nelson.
Reports that a man was threatening to jump were received by officers at around 3 a.m. on Saturday.
The man was eventually brought back to ground level after talking with officers for an hour and a half.
