Every Street, which runs from Scotland Road to Lomeshaye Road, is currently closed off in sections and the reopening is seen as a vital part of the regeneration of the Whitefield area of town.

Pendle Council's Nelson Committee agreed a traffic and safety survey into the possible reopening be carried out, but is to ask the Executive to provide the £15,000 funding as the opening would benefit people from other parts of the borough.
