Arrest made in Burnley murder
Detectives investigating the death of 49-year-old Stephen Whitehead in Burnley have made an arrest.
A 34-year-old man from Burnley was arrested on suspicion of murder this morning and is currently in custody.
Police were called by the Ambulance Service at around 8am on Monday, July 27th, after Stephen Whitehead was discovered at the business premises of Pendle Skips in Balderstone Close, Burnley with significant head injuries. Sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination established the cause of death as extensive head injuries.
