“As ever, Barnoldswick people did us proud and turned up to support our event. Thank you to our judges Andrew Stephenson MP, Michelle from Patacake in Rainhall Road and Bryce Mitchell from Café on the Square.

“We could not have put on this event without the support of all the town shopkeepers who supported us with raffle prizes.

“We would like to thank Lee Duerden and the Alma Inn again for their support of a voucher and also Mario’s, Thornton Hall Farm and Rolls-Royce for their tremendous support.

“But the main stars of the day are the bakers. We are so glad we did not have to judge the cakes as they were great.

“The entertainment was fantastic and the grand total raised was £865 which is a very good result.”
