For more than 50 years Cruse Bereavement Care has been there to support people in their grief.
The charity was founded to support women and children who had lost their husbands and fathers. Today Cruse helps a wide range of men, women and children as they come to terms with their emotions stemming from the death of a loved one.
At present Cruse is much in demand and constantly looking for new volunteers to join its hard-working local teams. If you are interested in becoming involved with Cruse Bereavement Care Lancashire, a new “Awareness in Bereavement Care” course will begin in February. The course will be held over nine Saturdays at The Women’s Centre, in Accrington, close to Junction 7 of the M65, and is open to anyone who would like to become a volunteer.
For details or an application form, send a covering letter and A5 size SAE to: Cruse Bereavement Care, 12 Croston House, Lancashire Business Park, LEYLAND, PR26 6TT. Alternatively you can e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Places on the course are limited, so don’t delay.
