Pupils at St Mary’s Primary School in Newchurch-in-Pendle have raised £122 in aid of Pendleside Hospice by taking part in the annual Bunny Hop at Easter.

Every pupil put on their bunny ears and completed laps of the playground by walking, jogging or hopping around. Everyone who took part got a well-earned Cadbury’s creme egg and certificate.

One of Pendleside’s volunteers Zoe Rothwell, who is also a governor at the school, was on hand to receive the cheque on behalf of the hospice at the weekly Friday assembly.
