Could retail guru Mary Portas transform Nelson Town Centre? VOTE NOW

editorial image

RETAIL guru Mary Portas could be making a trip to Nelson to use her skills to transform the town centre.

But do you think that she would be able to give the town’s struggling retailers a boost and make the town centre a better shopping experience for visitors? Or do you think she would have bitten off more than she could chew with the number of empty shops and struggling economy?

Vote now!

Not a hope in hell. Its a shame this once thriving community and shopping centre has been ruined beyond redemption! Burnley is not far behind

NO NO, since the town planners made it unfrendly to go to shop years ago, its never recovered. Plus it is and always has been a depressing place to go to, just go into the pendle rise shopping centre cheap shops and certainly not a freindly atmosphere. Plus the place were the argos is that was going to be a flag ship retail centre, all it did was close the business on that site, and is like a black hole when you go in. The place has become a council planned dump and will be nothing more
