Earby’s holiday company cottages.com opened its doors to the public to celebrate a new identity and commitment to the local area.

The firm, which employs 402 people in its Spring Mill office in Stoney Bank Road, invited residents and local dignitaries to go behind the scenes at the UK’s largest holiday letting agency.

Guests toured the offices, met senior staff and learned more about the cottage brands managed by the company.

The company also introduced the latest brand – cottages.com – which offers customers a brand new way to plan and book a cottage holiday.

Featuring cottages from different brands, www.cottages.com offers the biggest choice of high-quality cottages across the UK, France, Ireland and Italy.

Managing director Nick Rudge said: “As a business we have strong roots in the area and although there have been a few name changes along the way, the heart of what we do, providing home from home cottage holidays, has stayed the same. It is all about celebrating our history and showcasing great work that takes place every day.”
