VIDEO: Colne councillor takes on Ice Bucket Challenge

Waiting for Video...

Facebook users in Pendle have been throwing their weight behind a viral Ice Bucket Challenge craze.

And one of the latest to take on the challenge to raise funds for motor neurone disease charities is County Coun. Paul White.

He has been filmed getting drenched outside Colne Town Hall while holding a giant teddy called Barry the Bear.

Now he has nominated Coun. Lyle Davy, Coun. Sarah Cockburn-Price, Coun. Jenny Purcell and Coun. Margaret Foxley. to follow in his footsteps and join the national campaign.

The Ice Bucket challenge was founded in America and involves throwing a bucket of ice water on someone’s head to promote awareness and encourage donations.

If you are from Pendle and have also taken on the Ice Bucket Challenge send your videos to kelvin.stuttard@jpress.co.uk

And if you have put your own unique slant to the challenge or have special reasons for joining the campaign email rebecca.cohen@jpress.co.uk with details.
