CCTV images have been released by police after a 43-year-old man was punched, kicked to the floor, and robbed in Colne.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, following the incident at around 9-15pm on Wednesday, September 24th, in Midgley Street.

A 43-year-old was walking home through the car park when it is believed that he was approached by two men.

The men are thought to have punched and kicked the man to the floor and demanded he hand over money. The two men got away with £55 from a trouser pocket.

DC Haydn Sibley, of Burnley Police, said: “Luckily the victim only suffered minor scratches and bruises but was left shaken by the incident.

“We are keen to speak to the man pictured and I would ask anyone with information to contact police on 101 quoting FE1403869n or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

The man is described as a white man, approximately 5ft. 6in. tall, aged around 18 to 20-years-old.

One man has been charged in connection with this offence.
