A night that brought the “Magic of the Musicals” to a packed house raised £750 for a children’s hospice.

The evening at Pendle Hippodrome in Colne was arranged by members of Nelson Civic Choir in aid of Derian House and featured special guests Burnley Alliance Silver Band and singers Harry Brookes and Elliot McNulty.

The hospice’s community fund-raiser Judy Miller (right) was presented with a cheque by the conductor John Garrett and past and present chairmen Margaret Bainbridge and Janet Deighton.
