Classic car show comes to Towneley Park

A FUN-PACKED family day out awaits visitors to Towneley Park on Sunday when the annual Classic Car Show returns for the 27th year.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Burnley, the event will take place between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., and will feature parades of cars, stalls, dance performances, children’s fun fair, a climbing wall, face painting, paintball shooting gallery and games.

There is no entrance charge but organisers will be holding collections for charity and the police, fire service and Army will all be in attendance.

Awards to the best in show and class winners will be made by the Mayor of Burnley, Coun. David Heginbotham, who will also make a presentation to the “Mayor’s choice” from 4 p.m.
