A Barrowford man who was involved in a conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis is awaiting sentence at Preston Crown Court.
Darren Bowling (48), of Colne Road, admitted charges of conspiring to supply the drugs and money laundering during a two-week hearing which ended on Friday.
Two other men arrested in connection with the raids have already admitted possession of drugs with intent to supply. Mark Waring (39), of Peel Mount, Blackburn, and Shaun McDonald (37), of Colshaw Road, Manchester, will be sentenced along with Bowling on October 10th.
After the hearing, Detective Inspector Martin Kane said: “This investigation is a demonstration of Lancashire’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit’s commitment to combating the supply of controlled drugs.
“There is no doubt that Darren Bowling has become a very wealthy man over the years from importing and supplying cocaine and we are now continuing to investigate the properties and wealth he has amassed over the years to support Proceeds of Crime proceedings.
“Drugs are a blight on our communities and Lancashire Police are dedicated towards tackling the supply of drugs into Lancashire.”
