ARMED police swooped on a house in Burnley this morning after reports a man was being held at gunpoint.
The scenes unfolded in Ivory Street, off Padiham Road, this morning when police set up a cordon around the mid-terrace house.
Police armed with machine guns and riot shields, as well as dog-handlers, were posted around the house, opposite the Tim Bobbin pub.
After a stand-off lasting several hours four Asian men walked out of the house and were handcuffed.
