Clitheroe police release CCTV image after stolen bank card is used in shops

Police have urged the public to help identify this man after bank cards were stolen from Whalley.

A spokesman for Ribble Valley police said: "We would like to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV after bank cards were stolen from a car in Whalley and then used a number of times.

"We received a report last Thursday (October 20th) that a wallet had been taken from a car parked on Elm Close.

It's believed the offence happened at sometime between 4-45 pm on Wednesday (October 19th) and 6-45 am the following morning. The cards were then used at a number of shops in the Whalley and Burnley areas.

"We think the man pictured could have important information and we really need your help to find him so we can speak to him.

"If you know who, or where, he is, please call us on 101 quoting reference EG1606511 or e-mail [email protected]."
