One-hundred-and-fifty family members and friends were present at the funeral of former Pendle student Jayden Parkinson’s funeral in Kent on Saturday.
Following a service at St Martin’s Church in Cheriton, the 17-year-old former Colne Primet High School pupil was buried in the church’s cemetery where flowers were placed at her graveside.
Jayden was found dead in a disturbed grave at All Saints’ Church in Didcot, Oxfordshire, in December, after a search involving 100 police officers.
Her ex-boyfriend Ben Blakeley (22), of Christchurch Road, Reading, has been charged with her murder and perverting the course of justice.
A 17-year-old boy from Didcot has been charged with perverting the course of justice.
