A Nelson man due to be sentenced for possessing indecent images, had his case adjourned.

Sheldon Bateson (28), of Fulham Street, Nelson, has pleaded guilty to charges of possession and distribution of indecent images.

He was due to appear at Burnley Crown Court last week for sentence. However, a co-defendant has since been charged with sharing indecent images with Bateson.

Chloe Dunn (19), of Eastern Road, Portsmouth, was charged with two offences of making indecent images. She was due to appear at court for a plea and case management hearing last Wednesday, but pleaded guilty to the charges.

She will now be sentenced along with Bateson on September 4th.
