A 20-year-old man who admitted being abusive to a police community support officer during trouble on a Nelson street, was fined.

Unemployed Fahid Iqbal, of Every Street, Nelson, pleased guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour on June 19th.

He was fined £55, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal court charge, by Burnley magistrates.
