Police searching for missing Burnley teenager Declan Edwards have found a body.
The body was found by police officers at shortly after 4pm in woodland at Rowley Park, Rowley Lane.
Formal identification has yet to take place at this stage but the body is believed to be that of 16-year-old Declan.
At this stage the death is not being treated as suspicious and a post-mortem examination will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death.
His family have been informed and specially trained officers are offering support to them.
Police said they would like to thank the local community for all their help and support over the last few days, however the searches for Declan have been suspended pending formal identification of the body.
