A man who escaped from the dock at Burnley Crown Court more than four years ago before going on the run has been arrested by police in Spain.
Andrew Moran (31), one of the UK’s most wanted men, was one of two armed robbers who held up a Royal Mail van driver at Asda in Colne in May 2005, stealing £25,000.
Moran was arrested after the robbery but, during his trial, he vaulted the dock, assaulting four security guards.
He was arrested after police swooped on his luxury villa north of Benidorm where they also found handguns, ammunition and a machete. He was due to appear in court in Madrid this morning.
