A third person was arrested this morning in connection with the murder of former Pendle schoolgirl Jayden Parkinson.
The body of former Colne Primet High School student Jayden (17) was found in an established grave in the Great Western Cemetery next to All Saints Church in Didcot on December 18th.
Jayden had moved from the Pendle area when she was in Year 8 to live with her mum.
She had been last seen at Didcot Railway Station on December 3rd, and more than 100 officers and detectives were assigned to the case.
Her ex-boyfriend Ben Blakeley (22), of Christchurch Road, Reading, has been charged with her murder.
Mr Blakeley, and a 17-year-old boy from Didcot have also been charged with perverting the course of justice.
And now a 48-year-old woman from Didcot is currently in police custody on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “A 48-year-old woman from Didcot was arrested this morning at about 8-20am on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.”
Jayden’s funeral took place earlier this month at St Martin’s Church in Cheriton.
