Pendle Dogs in Need is benefitting from a lavish dog treat business which has got both tongues and tails wagging.

Set up six months ago by Kyle Lovett-Blackwell, Ben Millar and Jimmy Dent, Puppy Essentials is an online shop where you can pamper your pooch with luxurious gifts.

The Pendle trio appear to be barking up all the right trees with their idea as their products, tested in-house by their very own four-legged friends Monty, Ralph and Boo, are put into top-of-the-range hampers and have been receiving rave reviews. And £1 from the sale of every hamper goes to charity, with hopes for a Christmas bonus after £165 was raised in November.

Kyle said: “We think the best way to sell luxury treat hampers is to find the best products, build unique, quirky collections and let the public decide when they want to purchase.

“We have supported them since the launch. It was easy for us to choose Pendle Dogs in Need as they do great work in our local community and help improve the lives of our dogs.”
